William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine Scholarly Activities

Welcome to the academic research channel of the William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine (WCUCOM). This channel represents a partnership with the Cureus Journal of Medicine (www.Cureus.com) and promotes academic and scholarship endeavors in the areas of osteopathic medicine, clinical sciences, patient care, public health, and biomedical sciences. Potential authors should carefully consider the most appropriate journals for their scholarly activity, including in their consideration the target audience, medical specialty, cost of publication, etc. For many authors, Cureus represents a reasonable option to reach a general medical audience, particularly for clinical case reports and smaller research studies. The administrators and deputy editors of this channel are happy to discuss publication options with potential authors.
This channel is dedicated to publication of scholarly activity by WCUCOM students. We particularly encourage submissions from students on clinical rotations and their clinical preceptors. Articles must meet the requirements and guidelines of the Cureus Journal of Medicine as well as the WCUCOM publication guidelines and specific channel policies found in "OTHER CONTENT". We particularly encourage submissions that advance the understanding of osteopathic medicine.
When submitting to our channel, please select “this is a channel article” to be considered and for no fees to apply.
Individuals not associated with WCUCOM should submit to Cureus via their standard submission route rather than through this channel.
Please note that all submissions must adhere to the Cureus editorial guidelines
